Spent the Weekend on Rainier. I'll let the pictures do the talking, save for a couple of points:
Rainier makes a great weekend trip, the loop of the Mountain is as convenient to Metropolitan Puget Sound as a Lahar is dangerous.'Trailhead Camping' is great, though I'm not sure how accepted it is in this park. One thing for sure, it's great for catching early wildlife and missing the summer throngs at Paradise and Sunrise.
